          Phần 2 - Long Turn

          Phần 2 là lượt dài cá nhân.           6- Describe something (special) that you saved money to buy. You should say:

          A.R.E.A trong IELTS Speaking nghĩa là gì?

          Đây là công thức được nhiều giám khảo và thí sinh khuyên các bạn nên ôn luyện theo bởi vì nó đem lại cho bài nói sự logic và ấn tượng, theo đúng câu hỏi mà giám khảo hỏi bạn.

          Bài thi IELTS Speaking có 3 Part và đều áp dụng được công thức này. Cấu trúc bài thi IELTS cả Academic và General đều giống nhau phần Speaking nên công thức áp dụng được cho các hình thức thi IELTS.

          Bạn có tò mò nó là gì?

          Đó là:

          A – Answer: Đưa ra câu trả lời trực tiếp cho câu hỏi.

          R – Reason: Đưa ra lý do cho câu trả lời.

          E – Example: Đưa ra ví dụ cụ thể cho câu trả lời.

          A – Alternatives: Có thể đưa ra ý kiến phản bác cho câu hỏi.

          Vì sao công thức A.R.E.A hữu ích với bài thi Speaking? 

          Công thức A.R.E.A giúp bạn có được lối triển khai ý cho bài nói của mình có định hướng và tư duy logic vì bạn cần đi từ những điều đầu tiên đến những ý kiến cuối cùng.

          Bạn biết đấy, trong bài thi IELTS Speaking, ngoài tiêu chí chấm thi về độ trôi chảy, phát âm, từ vựng, cấu trúc câu đa dạng, sự tự nhiên thì phần bài nói mạch lạc, gắn kết cũng rất quan trọng. Và với công thức này, bạn sẽ vừa có bài nói mạch lạc vừa phát triển ý tốt, kết hợp từ vựng, cấu trúc câu chuẩn hơn.

          Một bài nói lập luận theo từng bước, đủ ý , ví dụ sẽ giúp bạn gây ấn tượng và khiến giám khảo nhận xét tốt hơn là bài nói vòng vo, không có trọng điểm, không logic. Tất nhiên là vậy rồi.

          Ví dụ dưới đây giúp bạn hiểu hơn về cách tư duy ý:

          Part 1: Do you like travelling abroad? (Bạn có thích đi du lịch nước ngoài không?)

          => Answer: Bạn trả lời Có hoặc Không

          => Reason:

          Nếu có, đưa ra lý do như khám phá miền đất mới, thưởng thức ẩm thực, gặp bạn bè, tìm hiểu văn hóa mới.

          Nếu không thì đưa ra những lý do mà bạn cảm thấy không đi được như tốn kém chi phí, rào cản ngôn ngữ, không có ai đồng hành…

          => Example:

          Nếu thích đi, đưa ra ví dụ về chuyến đi với những kỷ niệm vui, điều thú vị..

          Nếu không thì kể về một chuyến đi của bạn trong quá khứ và những khó khăn, điều không thích, xui xẻo…mà bạn gặp khiến bạn không thích du lịch nữa.

          => Alternatives: Phản bác lại: Đi du lịch nước ngoài không phải là một ý hay. Tuy nhiên thì phần Alternatives không bắt buộc, nếu đã có 3 phần trên thì bài nói của bạn đã đạt yêu cầu về sự logic rồi.

          Như vậy, bạn đã có được bài thi logic và có thể ăn điểm cao rồi đó!
